TC-277 A/B Flexible Polyurethane Foam is a two-component, 4 lb density foam system designed for casting flexible, durable parts with a smooth feel similar to foam sandals. It’s commonly used for prototypes, props, footwear components, prosthetics, and padding applications where comfort and resilience are required. Adjustable Firmness: Modify the mix ratio to fine-tune the foam’s feel: 75A/100B → firmer, quick-recovery foam 60A/100B → slightly softer foam Usage Guide: Warm mold to 75–85°F and ensure it’s sealed and released. Shake or stir Part B before mixing. Combine Part A and B for 8–10 seconds using a high-speed drill and Jiffy mixer. Pour immediately—do not scrape sides of the container. Foam expands in 1–2 minutes and can be removed from the mold after 20–30 minutes. Crush or squeeze after removal to vent gases and minimize shrinkage. Safety Precautions: Use only in well-ventilated areas. Wear gloves, long sleeves, and safety glasses. Avoid skin or eye contact; wash with soap and water if exposure occurs. Do not use solvents to remove resin from skin. Flush eyes with water for 15 minutes if contact occurs and seek medical attention. Read SDS before use. Contains Diethanolamine (California Prop 65). Storage Information: Store sealed at 65–80°F (18–27°C). Shelf life is 6 months unopened. After each use, purge opened containers with dry nitrogen and reseal tightly. If material appears cloudy or gummy, gently warm and stir until smooth.
