DESCRIPTIONS

Selected 15th overall by the Montreal Canadiens in the 2019 NHL Draft, Cole Caufield has emerged as a dynamic scorer despite his 5-foot-7 frame. A 2021 Hobey Baker Award winner at the University of Wisconsin, he led NCAA Division I in goals (30) and points (52) as a sophomore, helping the United States capture gold at the 2021 IIHF World Junior Championship. Caufield debuted with Montreal in April 2021, scoring his first NHL goal less than a week later and adding key playoff tallies during the Canadiens’ run to the Stanley Cup Final. In June 2023, he signed an eight-year, $62.8 million contract to remain a cornerstone in Montreal’s offense
