TC-284 A/B Flexible Polyurethane Foam is a two-part, self-skinning foam system that produces durable, flexible parts with a firm yet comfortable feel—similar to automotive arm rests. Ideal for props, bumpers, grips, padding, soundproofing panels, and impact-absorbing components. Adjustable Firmness: Easily vary density by adjusting the mix ratio: 50A/100B → approx. 8 lb/ft³ (firm feel) 30A/100B → approx. 13 lb/ft³ (softer, denser foam) Usage Guide: Warm mold to 75–85°F and ensure it’s sealed and released. Shake or stir Part B before use. Mix Part A and B thoroughly for 8–10 seconds using a high-speed drill and Jiffy mixer. Pour immediately after mixing—do not scrape container sides. Foam expands in about 2 minutes and can be removed from the mold after 30 minutes. Crushing or squeezing after removal helps vent residual gases and minimize shrinkage. Safety Precautions: Use in a well-ventilated area. Wear gloves, long sleeves, and eye protection. Avoid skin or eye contact; wash thoroughly with soap and water if exposure occurs. Do not use solvents on skin. Flush eyes with water for 15 minutes if contact occurs and seek medical attention. Read SDS before use. Contains Diethanolamine and Ethylene Glycol (California Prop 65). Storage Information: Store sealed at 65–80°F (18–27°C). Shelf life is 6 months in unopened containers. After each use, purge opened containers with dry nitrogen and reseal tightly. If crystallization occurs, gently warm and stir until smooth.
