DESCRIPTIONS

Universal Hotsticks are used by utility line workers to perform Live-Line work on energized line equipment. Hotsticks are sometimes called “working sticks” since these tools are designed to be used as hotstick handles for dozens of tools that attach to the Universal Head (Spline) fitting. Universal Heads are equipped with wingscrews that allow the user to attach universal tools at different angles relative to the stick. The insulating portion of these tools (yellow poles) meet ASTM F711 and are constructed of electrical grade fiberglass reinforced thermoset resins that surround a uni-cell foam core.
