DESCRIPTIONS

Chestnut Mushroom (Pholiota adipose) is highly versatile with a unique flavor and texture profile. It produces velvety, small-to-medium, brownish-orange speckled caps resembling the color of its namesake nut. Highly prized by chefs, the chestnut mushroom is both nutty and sweet with a peppery finish, and the stems retain a crisp, crunchy texture similar to asperagus after cooking. First flushes average 1-2 lbs off of 5 lb supplemented sawdust blocks. Each sterile syringe contains a sub-strain designed to maximize yield while minimizing incubation time. Plus, it comes with a sterile hypodermic needle for easy transfer of samples between mediums. Best of all, it was developed using our own in-house criteria for the highest standards in safety and quality assurance.
