THREE CD BOX SET FEATURING THE BEST OF JOHN PRINE IN CONCERT This three CD set features some of the finest live performances made during the lengthy career of the hugely influential singer-songwriter John Prine. Disc One showcases two separate events from 1970, prior to the release of his self-titled debut album. The first is taken from an August gig at The 5th Peg in Chicago, while the second finds Prine playing in the studio for the long-running Studs Terkel radio show Disc Two features a show performed in support of John's 1986 album German Afternoons, in front of a rapt audience in Asheville, NC in October that year. This box concludes with Prine's set at The Singer-Songwriter Festival in Frutigen, Switzerland on 13th May 1996, in support of Lost Dogs And Mixed Blessings album.
