About Miller Twin Turbo 7.5-Foot T-BAK Tie-Back Personal

The Miller Turbo T-BAK Personal Fall Limiter is the first retractable designed to tie back anywhere along the lifeline, offering more tie-off anchorage locations with a greater variety of beam-size options. The all-in-one, self-retracting lifeline/anchorage connector design is both safer and more cost-effective than tie-back shock-absorbing lanyards. Safer because it eliminates tripping hazards and arrests free falls within inches. More cost-effective because it reduces the amount of equipment required to purchase and use on the job site, which in turn reduces the need for frequent gear changes. This saves time and increases productivity. The high-strength EXTREME webbing is abrasion-resistant and features white side stripe stitching to indicate it is specially designed for tie-back applications. Miller's patented 5K locking snap hook is also purpose-designed for tie-back use, boasting a 5,000 lb (22 kN) gate load capacity from any angle. This ensures the hook will not fail if load forces are concentrated on the face or side of the hook. Various unit end connector options are available. Twin unit offerings include two options for 100% tie-off fall protection: the D-ring connector system, which connects directly to the safety harness back D-ring, and the G2 connector system. The G2 is the lightest twin connector available, and features a rotating webbing retainer clip to prevent the gate from opening. This tie-back PFL meets all applicable OSHA, ANSI, CSA and CE standards, including the ANSI Z359.14-2012 requirement that states only 24-inches (.61 m) or less of lifeline extends out of the housing when the unit is fully retracted.
