Equipped with an extra-deep frame that effectively contains wash water, the wet-wash sieve allows you to remove fines in preparation of particle size analysis and helps achieve more accurate fines content determinations. The 6-inch-deep frame also helps keep sample loss to a minimum, making it especially useful when handling fragile specimens. Featuring a No. 200 (75-micron) opening size, this wet-wash sieve has been manufactured in compliance with ASTM E11 specifications. The frame and the cloth are crafted from stainless steel, helping ensure the longest possible service life even in applications that involve extreme wear, contamination, or sanitation issues. With its 8-inch (203mm) diameter, this testing sieve is ideal for analyzing medium-sized sample volumes. This Gilson wet-wash sieve meets the ASTM E11 and AASHTO M 92 requirements for Compliance-grade sieves. It comes with an individual serial number and a certificate of manufacturing conformance.
