About Martellato MC103110V Meltinchoc Chocolate-Melting

The Martellato Meltinchoc is a dry-heat analog (non-digital) electrical appliance whose function is to melt solid chocolate and keep it melted or fluid. Made for ease of use but designed for professional use in confectionery stores, ice cream shops and bakeries. The unit consists of a body made of lightweight but sturdy plastic, in which the stainless steel chocolate container is inserted 110 volts, 50-60 hertz, IP20; CE listed; 41-inch-long cord, three-prong plug (two flat, one cylindrical); on/off light-up rocker switch; front indicator light. Bottom of unit heats up and transmits heat to the stainless steel container. Analog thermostat (controlled by graduated knob) adjusts temperature from 0 to 60. Body, lid and bottom of unit are durable plastic. Removable basin/bowl/pot/inset/insert/tub/container is AISI 304 stainless steel. Non-skid/scrape rubber feet. Made in Italy. (See bullets for dimensions of each unit.) Use Meltinchoc only when chocolate is in the basin/bowl/pot/inset/insert/tub/container (never switch the appliance on without chocolate in the container). Stir chocolate at regular intervals to keep temperature even throughout; check temperature with a chocolate thermometer (not included). Melting time depends on amount of chocolate you’re melting. Wait for unit to cool down before removing container, or use oven gloves and place it down where its sides and bottom won’t be touched by bare hands Before cleaning the appliance, switch it off with the ON/OFF switch, unplug from the power socket and make sure none of the parts are hot. If they are, allow the unit to cool. To wash the stainless steel container, use warm water and dishwashing detergent. To clean the plastic outer housing, use warm water applied with a damp sponge. Be careful not to splash accessible electrical parts with water. Never immerse the product in water. Also make sure there is no residue on the unit before reusing.
