Two Seppas (spacer) secure the Tsuba. Saya: The saya (sheath) of the sword is made of Hackberry. synthetic silk Sageo has been tied around the bright copper Kurigaga (knob) of the scabbard. The Koiguchi has been hardened. Blade: using the ancient method of sword making, fully hand forged, hand polished and hand sharpened. It is made from 1060 carbon steel.
