The wire stripper in this kit has three separate hole applications, each with different capabilities. The first hole application: 1.6–3 mm jacket strips to 600–900 µm tight buffer; 2nd hole application: 900 µm tight buffer strips to 250 µm buffer coating; 3rd hole application: 250 µm buffer coating strips down to 125 µm bare fiber.
