Amazon.com Well, I can't imagine wanting to own the original albums. Unlike most actors, this former soap opera star (General Hospital) was already a rock star in Australia when he decided to try acting. That his music sounds like the work of an actor only proves why he moved out of the music biz for awhile. To be fair, his hits were always acceptable as lightweight pop. "Jessie's Girl" was the big track (with "I've Done Everything for You" the follow-up), but only timing prevented "Don't Talk to Strangers" or "Affair of the Heart" from crossing over even bigger. He delivered his music like a happy pizza boy delivering the last pie of the night. --Rob O'Connor
