About Music For Productivity

From the Label The Sound Health Series is based upon clinical investigations into psychoacoustics- the study of the effect of music and sound on the human nervous system. Sound Health recordings are designed to improved ear and brain function while providing a delightful listening experience. We are often asked "What makes these recordings different and effective?" The answer, simply, is ABT's unique combination of science and art. Scientific research demonstrates what many people already know: certain music helps to accelerate learning, focus attention, and enhance health. Accessing three decades of clinical experience, ABT has identified components of music and sound that produce physical and mental states conducive to specific activities. The music of the Sound Health Series has been re-arranged according to proven techniques. Although the melodies may seem familiar, all the music has been meticulously re-structured in vibrant new recordings to maximize effectiveness for your well-being. ABT's skillful blending of art and science results in beautiful soundtracks that enhance health, learning, and productivity. Advanced Brain Technologies (ABT) creates music and sound programs for those seeking therapeutic, educational, and self-improvement benefits. Collaborating with leaders in neuro-development, education, music, and psychoacoustics, ABT produces innovative brain-based products and technologies. ABT, in association with the Center for Psychoacoustic Research, is pioneering the development of sound programs for specific uses. Product Description Music for Productivity incorporates proven psychoacoustic techniques to revitalize and renew. Using a great variety of tempos to stimulate the nervous system, the process of sonic isometrics is widely employed. Simple/complex melodic arrangements alternate while changing rhythmic pulses subtly produce a tension/release cycle. These ear-robics are designed for a cerebral work-out. This music is lively in pace and feels great! About the Artist The award-winning musicians of the Arcangelos Chamber Ensemble (pronounced R CAN JELOS) include string quintet, woodwinds, brass, piano, and other instruments as needed. In some cases, world instruments are used. This has included sarod, unitar, tamboura, bansuri bamboo flutes, and Tibetan bowls and bells. Sumptuous recordings feature the timeless music of Bach, Vivaldi, Corelli, Mozart, Mahler, Brahms, and others. Albums are usually recorded on-site in highly resonant spaces (chapels, wineries, concert halls) with state-of-the-art digital equipment. The resultant sound is distinctly warm and vibrant. Arcangelos is pioneering a new approach to performance and recording. The goal is to recognize the value of the intention of everyone involved. This includes performers, directors, recording engineers and the audience. Arcangelos has collaborated with leading edge practitioners in the fields of health, learning, and productivity. Co-creators include Andrew Weil, MD., Bernie Siegel, MD., Bio-feedback expert Anna Wise, sound researcher Jeffrey Thompson, and Advanced Brain Technologies. The Arcangelos Chamber Ensemble is based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Richard Lawrence and Joshua Leeds are the Creative Directors. Richard Lawrence, Musical Director.
