Review Pritam has churned out yet another soundtrack that will click with the masses. He has composed all but one of the melodious and catchy songs in "Jab We Met" that stars Shahid Kapur and Kareena Kapoor."Aao milo chalo" is a number that makes for good listening. This Pritam composition is based on a road trip and he ropes in Shaan for the rendition.Ustad Sultan Khan croons a small part of the song and the two pour melody and rhythm into the track."Aaoge jab tum" is a lovely song composed by Sandesh Shandilya who has fused contemporary music with that of the 1970s.Ustad Rashid Khan's voice makes it endearing to the core. And lyrics by Irshad Kamil are innovative - all in all, it is rhythmic and pleases the ear.Guaranteeing a complete dance number, Pritam brings in Labh Janjua to croon "Mauja hi mauja". The song is sure to get people on the dance floor with the bhangra element being predominant.Continuing with the bhangra theme, Pritam composes "Nagada nagada", which too is high on 'masti'. Here he has Sonu Nigam singing the Punjabi lyrics - and he does a pretty neat job."Nagada nagada" is also bound to get music buffs to shake a leg or two.The best of the lot comes in the form of "Tum se hi". Pritam's choice of Mohit Chauhan for the rendition seems perfect as he sings with great ease. 'Tum se hi' is a must-hear.Shreya Ghoshal sings "Yeh ishq hai", a peppy number with exciting beats. The 'electronised' voice of the singer gives an out of the ordinary bent to the song that has a slightly rustic feel to it as well. "Jab We Met" is a feel-good album and doesn't have even one bad song. Pritam, who had hit the skies with his music in "Life In A Metro", will make his presence felt this time too. --santabanta.comThe album is a perfect example of how to get a quality soundtrack which mixes songs for different segments of audience. One which is looking for instant chartbusters to tap the feet on [Mauja Hi Mauja, Yeh Ishq Hai, Nagada Nagada] and another which feasts on music that is as peaceful and soothing as it gets [Tum Se Hi, Aao Milo Chalo, Aaoge Jab Tum, Theme music]. You don't want to miss this one! --bollywoodhungama.comThis album is diverse, has some soulful melodies, awesome dance numbers, beautiful lyrics, and great vocals. All in all a music both for masses as well as classes. And with Kareena shaking her 'you know what' with her 'you know who' on the screen, I'm sure crowd would go bonkers. A must have in your collection. --sirishminapalli.blogspot.com
