Season of Hope, directed by Colonel Dennis M. Layendecker, is yet another magnificent recording by the United States Air Force Band. The album was created in the classic tradition of Christmas and hopes to portray what the holiday season is all about. The album features Christmas classics mixed in with some less known, yet beloved seasonal tracks. Season of Hope is comprised of twenty important pieces such as "Up on the Housetop" and "What Child is This/A Child is Born". Each different song brings back warm holiday memories and will help to create new ones each year. Several of the ensembles of the United States Air Force Band, including Max Impact, Silver Wings, and The Concert Band, participate on the album. The United States Air Force Band plays brilliantly on each different song, making Season of Hope an amazing collection that serves to represent everything the holiday season stands for.
