Luis Fonsi, Lucero and Olga Tanon are part of the constellation of stars that have joined the Historia de un Amor project, a musical production that celebrates 70-year career of legendary singer Lucho Gatica. The title of the album in which Gatica performs duets with these important artists, highlights some of the best songs of the Chilean performer's stellar career. Among the artists are collaborating are Puerto Rican Luis Fonsi, with whom he shared the song "La Barca", the Mexican singer and actress Lucero, who sang "Perfidia" and merengue superstar Olga Tanon, performing "Sin Ti" . The project was produced by GRAMMY ® winners, KC Porter and Humberto Gatica (Lucho nephew) , who joined in a historic collaboration to record the most striking tribute album of this decade . Historia de Un Amor features 11 of the greatest Boleros in Lucho Gatica successful career and they are now interpreted in a duet with some of the most significant artists today. The album also features the artistic participation of Beto Cuevas, not only as a singer in the duet "No Me Platiques Mas" but also on a visual perspective. The former lead singer of La Ley, whose talent extends to drawing and painting, was in charge of the portrait in charcoal that is the album cover . Historia de Un Amor also includes duets with Il Volo, Laura Pausini, Michael Bublé, Miguel Bosé, Nelly Furtado, Pepe Aguilar and Ricardo Montaner.
