About Drew Brees
Super Bowl XLIV champion Drew Brees is one of the greatest passing quarterbacks in the history of the NFL. In a career that began as a signal caller for the San Diego Chargers in 2001 and has culminated in Brees becoming only the third quarterback in league history to pass for more than 70,000 yards, he has been a top performer and standout QB as leader of the New Orleans Saints since 2006. A native of Austin, TX, Brees was the 32nd overall pick in the second round of the 2001 NFL Draft after his college career at Purdue University.
