About Wonder Body: A Sophisticated Coloring Book For

Product Description Wonder Body is a multi-faceted exploration of the ways our bodies can sense, know, and receive pleasure. Through engaging text, expressive images, and the experience of coloring itself this unusual coloring book creates a rich, multi-modal, somatic experience of embodiment. Explorations begin with the senses (not just the big five), through the seven subtle energy centers, and then on to a wide variety of unexpected portals of pleasure for the reader's (or colorist's) consideration. While coloring can be relaxing and meditative, now it can be enlivening too. The colorist will bring these pages to life, literally moving them from B&W to Technicolor. It's an experiential adventure--using mind, body and curiosity--to discover all the potency of your Wonder Body! Wonder Body is 92 pp. and contains 36 full-page illustrations with matching text. There's even a bonus flip book built in for extra whimsical pleasure. Top bound for ease of use by left or right-handed colorists. Convenient 8.5" square format for portability. Review "Senses, chakras, purpose, pleasure--Wonder Body is truly Tantric--and absolutely delightful." - Barbara Carrellas, author of UrbanTantra: Sacred Sex for the 21st Century "This is awesome! And I don't even like coloring!" - Dr. Betty Martin, creator of the Wheel of Consent "Trip out about how amazing and diverse we are while you creatively engage with these fantastic pages." - Carol Queen, PhD, co-founder of the Center for Sex & Culture About the Author Amy Butcher is an artist, writer, facilitator, and liminal guide. She believes that play is the path to power and that the erotic is the juiciest form of play. With an MBA, M.Ed. in Social Justice Education, and diverse studies in experiential education, she brings outside-the-box approaches to group dynamics and creative projects, always hoping to midwife increased compassion through them all. Amy is also the author of the award-winning murder mystery Paws for Consideration. When she's not glued to a keyboard, she can be found traveling, bicycling, lifting heavy weights, or binge watching British police procedurals on Netflix. She was once described as a silver fox, which makes her blush to this day. Alex Jade has been professionally exploring the sensate, energetic intelligence of our bodies for the past thirty years. Initially trained as a massage and movement therapist, Alex went to graduate school in social work to obtain advanced training in trauma and mental health. With clinical experience as a Emergency Department social worker and psychotherapist, she concurrently worked to develop and facilitate experiential erotic education. Alex is a student of classical Tantra, a parent, and has a deep regard for wildness. She works within the urban ecosystem by nurturing soil mycelium, hosting bees, and growing food.
