A boxed set that includes Foxfire, foxfire 2, and foxfire 3. Fox fire (1) includes: Hog dressing, log cabin building, mountain crafts and foods, planting b the signs, snake lore, hunting tales, faith healing, moonshining, and other affairs of plain living. FOXFIRE 2 includes: ghost Stories, spring wild plant foods, spinning and weaving, midwifing, burial customs, corn shuckin's, wagon making and more affairs of plain living; AND FOXFIRE 3 includes: animal care, banjos and dulcimers, hide tanning, summer and fall wild plant foods, butter churns, ginseng, and still more affairs of plain living. NOTE: that this series of FOX FIRE was acquired by the seller, because as a Special Forces Soldier stationed at Ft. Bragg, NC, this was required reading and study. While being an anthropological and folklore essential, the lessons learned in this series is especially helpful for those in our society who may find themselves, "lost in the woods", or at least operating unsupported in the wilderness, as soldiers sometimes do.
