Contoured cutting blades are designed to maintain the shape of the cable and its electrical performance. Constructed of premium Japanese forged steel with state of the art heat treating process to ensure longevity of cutter and its cutting blades. Cut with ease with our high leverage design. Not for cables containing steel. The Klinge series is our premium line of cutting tools by Capri Tools. The Klinge 9-1/2-Inch High Leverage Cable Cutters have our expertly hardened high-carbon steel cutting edges that cuts through cables up to 4/0 AWG aluminum and 2/0 AWG copper. 55 HRC cutting edge hardness achieves optimal balance between toughness and edge retention. These cutters are constructed entirely of premium Japanese forged high-carbon steel and underwent state of the art heat treating process so they stay sturdy and sharp over time. Portable profile make these pliers agile in tight spots. Contoured cutting blades are designed specifically for cables to help them maintain its round shape and as a result maintain it's performance. Please do not use on cables containing steel as the steel element may damage the cutting blades.
