About Colored Epoxies 10022 Light Beige Epoxy Resin

Colored Epoxies is a two component super flexible epoxy coating system 2:1 Mix Ratio of Two Resins to one Hardener. Use any epoxy clear or colored as primer first. Coverage rate: 300-400 Sq.Ft per gallon, when used as a solid color or for metallic epoxy floors. Sand any imperfections out from primer coat. Solid Color: Apply second coat same color as primer. Coverage rate: 350 Sq.Ft per gallon. Always use 3/8" woven roller preferably 18". Flake Applications: No primer needed. Apply epoxy with 3/4" nap roller at a rate of 250 Sq.Ft per gallon, broadcast flakes using spike shoes full coverage 15-18 Sq.Ft per Pound, Partial coverage 30 to 40 sq.Ft per Pound. Recommended 1/8" flake for best results. Once cured 8 to 24 hours remove excess flake with leaf blower & stiff bristle broom, use 12" floor scraper, scrape down floor well. Once fully cleaned and vacuum apply clear resin over flakes with 12" flat squeegee, then back roll with same 3/8" woven roller. Coverage rate: 125 sq.Ft per gallon. Epoxy Metallic Floor: same rules applied as primer coat. Add metallic powdered pigments at a rate of 4oz to 1 gallon of Clear resin ( do not add hardener until you're ready to mix ) Coverage Rate: 55 to 60 Sq.Ft per gallon. Apply with1/8" x 1/8" Notch rubber squeegee or magic trowel (works great for the professional, but not as consistent for first timer) pour a 5" ribbon of mixed epoxy with hardener along wall approximately 6" off wall, use squeegee East to West then West to East direction. When more epoxy is needed pour on wet on wet continue squeegee, repeat process until area is completed. The metal pigment for the course of the next 4 hours will start to take a new shape, new look and amazing finishes. Tip: Always mix epoxies with very slow speed squirrel mixer varies styles available, so not to introduce air which will create air bubbles. If bubbles are present 1-4 hours after install walk on with spike shoes to lightly pop with brush or torch.IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Make sure that you order enough material to complete your job! Check you square footage measurements and coverage to determine the correct amount of material for your project.Disclaimer: The colors are represented as closely as possible.
