About D Series Electronic Auto Off In-Wall Time
This NSi Industries TORK D212HA electronic timer can handle up to 15 amp general purpose loads, 8 amp tungsten lighting loads, or 1/4 hp motor loads at 120 VAC. This timer features two, four, eight, and twelve hour countdown interval settings. The housing fits in a standard electrical box for in-wall mounting, and features a pushbutton for time selection, LED countdown interval indicators, and an ivory face. This electronic timer is Underwriter Laboratories (UL) Listed for quality assurance and is suitable for use indoors to control lighting and appliances. Time switches (also known as timers) are used to automatically turn electrical devices on or off at preset time intervals during a daily or weekly period. Timers can either be mechanical or electronic. Mechanical timers feature a dial with multiple pins to set the on/off time intervals. Electronic timers feature an LCD display and pushbuttons to set the time intervals. Timer switches have one or more device outlets or circuit contacts, and can be used to control indoor lights, outdoor lights, appliances, and small equipment motors.
