Rhaphidophora tetrasperma 'Ginny' - Mini Monstera is a member of the Araceae family of plants and is an epiphytic climbing vine. It is also sometimes referred to as Philodendron 'Ginny'. It can be found growing in Thailand and Malaysia where the thick stem will grab on tightly to a host tree. The leaves on this climbing vine are solid green, smooth and thick. As they mature, they will get holes and then split. With "Ginny' this happens quickly in young plants which is unusual for this type of plant. As this plant matures, the stems will get very thick and send out aerial roots (see picture) and it may eventually need to be staked. Rhaphidophora tetrasperma ‘Ginny’ prefers higher humidity and bright, filtered light. Water when the top inch of soil becomes dry. USDA Hardiness Zones 11
