The paisley Carroll and Company-brand necktie comes with a typed letter of authenticity, dated January 1988, that reads, "This tie was worn on an episode of 'Barney Miller' by me," and is autographed by Hal Linden. The items are in good to excellent condition, with the letter exhibiting creases, folds, and age-related fading and yellowing.
