About Transom Window 12" X 48" Double Pane Low E Tempered
3.2 mils thick low-E, tempered Glass with no gas fill. The low E coating is Triple-Silver MSVD which offers high VTL with low reflectance. U Value is 0.265 with a visible light transmittance (VLT) of ~61%. The Low E glass will reduce condensation on window, it also minimizes the amount of harmful ultraviolet and infrared light that can cause materials in the home to fade. The Low E glass coating will also reduce the cost of heating, lighting, and cooling cost of a building. Please note that the Low E Glass is NOT crystal clear will a slight tint, which gives the glass all the good quality listed above. Frame is constructed of maintenance free vinyl (PVC) which will not wrap, peel or corrode. No painting needed. Due to the Low E coating the grids will not appear pure white on the outside, but will be white on the inside
