About Beeswax Furniture Polish - Non-Toxic - Wood Polish
The reason we chose these ingredients is that Beeswax is a safe, natural, and effective way to bring new life to your wood. We wanted Carnauba Wax for its most important traits: it's harder than concrete, nearly insoluble in water, non-toxic, hypoallergenic, antioxidant and anti-fungal properties. What separates us from the rest is that we combined it all with a natural oil that has been used since as early as 500BC, and that is TUNG OIL. We use Tung oil because it can give a warm, creamy finish. Tung oil will dry, unlike other non-drying oils like Coconut oil, Mineral oil, and Olive oil. And unlike those oils, Tung oil will not go rancid. Tung oil can be used on nearly any surface including wood, concrete, brick, and stone. Works on pine, oak, cedar, cherry wood, and many more. Tung oil is more water-resistant than linseed oil because it has approximately three cross-links between molecules instead of the slightly less than two for linseed oil. Tung oil is all-natural and non-toxic, unlike polyurethane, which is added into other wood polish.
