Five Meters in One Compact Instrument Ideally suited for residential electricians, HVAC professionals, and automotive or marine applications, the Extech EX623 features multiple functions so technicians can carry one instrument into the field instead of several. The EX623 will measure AC current up to 400 amps, as well as AC/DC voltage, frequency, resistance, diode, and capacitance. Its wide-opening, 1-1/4-inch circular jaw can fit around cables up to 500 MCM. The Extech also features data hold and peak hold of current surges during motor startup and other transience, "freezing" data in the display for longer viewing.
