Description The Safavieh Old World Collections is hand-woven by skilled artisans to create this very special collection. These rugs combine traditional motifs with a hint of today’s colors, creating a unique masterpiece that will be enjoyed in any home. Handcrafted in China using a special weave, these rugs have a thick, heavy pile while providing exceptional comfort. Each design is inspired from 19th Century Agra designs, and have a touch of today’s colors. This helps recreate the coveted hand-crafted, natural and antique appearance in rugs designed for today’s decor. 100 percent hand-spun heathered yarn is used, giving its pile an aged character. The result is a rug that is very dense that is thick and yet plush, durable enough to withstand the test of time for many years to enjoy.
