About RWM Casters 45 Series Plate Caster, Swivel, Cast
Our casters are zinc plated to provide significant protection against corrosion, making them ideal for use in applications where moisture contact is common and expected. Manufactured with either straight roller, ball, or celcon bearings, it is possible to create a caster with the precise maneuverability you desire. The strong and stable design means that the RWM 45 Series Caster will provide years of reliable operation with minimal maintenance. The swivel section is heat-treated and set within double ball raceways that are secured with a nut & bolt 5/8" Kingpin. The design of our wheels gives them a capacity of between 350 lbs. and 1200 lbs. depending on whether you opt for the 4", 6", or 8" caster. Each wheel has a 2" width and an overall height of between 5-5/8" and 9-1/2". Of course, we understand that each operation is different, and each surface requires the right caster for smooth rolling. That is why our wheels are available in either Performance TPR, rubber on iron, urethane on iron, rubber on aluminum, solid urethane, high temp nylon, Nylatron HD, GT, V-groove iron, Pinnacle, Durastan, Polyolevfin, Omega, Torus, or either cast or forged steel. We make it a breeze to further customize the RWM 45 Series Caster for your specific applications. We offer installable face contact brakes, side tread brakes, metal installable cam wheel brakes, side wheel brakes, demountable swivel locks, foot-operated swivel locks, and thread guards. This makes it possible to optimize the caster for the rolling surface and your operational needs.
