About Generac 6377 30-Amp 125/250V 2-Pole Single Circuit

The Generac 6377 30-Amp 125/250-Volt 2-Pole Single Circuit Outdoor Manual Transfer Switch can be mounted next to the existing load center to power a single circuit such as a water heater, well pump or small air conditioner during a power outage. This transfer switch includes generator and utility breakers mechanically interlocked, lock nuts, wire connectors and an L14-30 power inlet for easy generator connection. The ground post is incorporated into the enclosure and (3) combination-1/2-inch and3/4-inch knockouts are provided on sides and back for easy wiring in minutes. When the utility power shuts off, you connect a power cord from your generator to the inlet on the transfer switch and start your generator. Then you can switch the utility breaker off, slide over the interlock and switch the generator breaker on. When the utility power is restored, simply do the reverse. This transfer switch is made with a NEMA 3R corrosion resistant aluminum enclosure with a hinged cover for added protection from the elements. It is UL Listed, made in the USA and measures 9-inch x 6-inch x 5-inch and weighs 5-pounds. This item can be used with GP3250, LP3250, XG4000, XP4000, GP5500, H5500/E, GP6500E, GP7500E, XG6500, XG7000E, XG8000E, XP6500E and XP8000E generators (XP units require a switch neutral kit).
