This sluice measures 48" L x 10" W with 3 inch high sides, and weighs 12 pounds. The detachable intake flare is 16 inches wide. It is made out of strong .080 gauge 5052 aircraft aluminum, which is light weight and aluminum makes it easier to use a magnet to remove the black sand build up. The riffle cage is also aluminum. Aluminum riffle and box will stand up to many years of use! MADE IN THE USA! The unique elongated 45 degree z-riffles are great for trapping gold. In the bottom of the sluice is a section of ribbed matting for fast gold ID. Below that is a section of expanded metal over ribbed miner's carpet. The expanded metal helps keep the gold in the box and prevents the rocks from knocking it loose.
