The Cabinet is made of Maple Veneer over 5 layers Multicore Construction with a polyurethane finish. A polymer finish is used on the playfield to give it that shiny look. There are metal stabilizer bars holding the playfield true to level. The stabilizers reduce the chance of the playfield to concave or convex. The shuffleboard table comes with chrome leg levelers and locking nuts to allow for precision leveling. One leg comes with a hidden accessory door and shelving to store pucks and sand/wax. How much room is needed behind a shuffleboard table could be as little as 2 feet but this is a little tight but 28-30" more than enough space to enjoy shuffleboard.
