H Wireless is the first gaming headset with an OLED display used to visually monitor all audio, wireless, configuration, and system settings. Most commonly used settings can be adjusted remotely from the headset. H Wireless contains a headset, transmitter, and all cables needed for connection to your PC, Xbox, Playstation, Mac, media centers, home theater equipment, and mobile devices. H Wireless also comes with two hot-swappable Lithium-Ion batteries for limitless play time. NOTE: 1.To troubleshoot for any crackling/buzzing / hissing noises, re-establish pairing between the headset and transmitter. To do this, go to System > Pair on the H Wireless transmitter and follow the prompts on screen. Also kindly check the source audio is set at an appropriate level. To adjust the level in a PC or Mac, go to the audio mixer, which is the small speaker icon in the bottom right corner in Windows, or System Preferences > Sound > Output in Mac. You may also be able to adjust the volume level in the player program’s settings or preferences (such as Windows Media Player or iTunes). 2.For the charging and battery issues the note that the H Wireless is capable of being USB bus powered. That means that the PC, Mac, or console may be able to power H Wireless on its USB ports. However, when you turn off the device to which H Wireless is connected, it will no longer have power. For that reason, and to ensure that you always have a fully charged backup battery ready to go, SteelSeries recommends connecting the included wall power supply to the H Wireless transmitter box using the power cable even in USB setups. 3.For the longest-lasting performance from your H Wireless batteries, it’s best not to fully discharge them all the way. SteelSeries recommends swapping batteries at about 25% remaining charge. Occasional full discharges are fine; frequent full discharges will reduce the lifespan of the batteries. Rotate batteries so both get regular use. Be sure to keep your headset and transmitter out of direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
