About GROZ Heavy Duty 8lb Sledge Hammer With 24-Inch
Groz 34512 Indestructible Handle Sledge Hammer with 8-Pound Head and 24-Inch Handle features an indestructible handle made with six large spring steel bars, which run all the way through the handle to prevent breaking during overstrikes. The steel bars are locked with a steel plate to the top of the hammer head, ensuring the head will never get dislodged. The head is induction-case hardened to 52-56 HRC maximum power and extended life. The ergonomic, vulcanized rubber-grip handle absorbs impact and vibration, reducing user fatigue. Great for driving in stakes, heavy demolition work in construction like fracturing rock, stone and concrete, driving fence posts, iron / rebar work and bending or shaping metal. Also great for police fire and rescue applications as well as in railroad work.
