The Kestrel 5500FW Fire Weather Pro WBGT is an all in one handheld heat safety meter and weather station. Lightweight, waterless, and easy to use, the unit offers quick set-up with the included vane mount to become a complete weather station capable of logging weather conditions and critical heat safety information. The 5400 provides NIST-traceable accuracy, reliability and usability when it matters most. Get Probability of Ignition (PIG), Fine Dead Fuel Moisture (FDFM), Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) and Thermal Work Limit (TWL) along with heat stress index, dewpoint, temperature (air/water/snow), wind chill, wind speed (current/average/max), altitude, barometric pressure, pressure trend, and relative humidity. It features an integrated compass and allows you to track trends with on-screen data graphing on a large, backlit display for easy viewing in all conditions.
