Sockeye Salmon are found throughout the North Pacific Ocean and inhabit most coastal streams and rivers from Alaska to Central California. The fillets are bright red with a fine, firm texture. The flavor is rich and robust. Sockeye Salmon are considered the most flavorful and versatile of the salmon family. Our boneless Sockeye Salmon fillets are flash frozen in tray packs of two 6 oz. Fillets for convenience - thaw only the tray packs that you need and the rest can remain frozen. Delivered frozen in a Lobster Gram Insulated cooler. Thaw and serve or freeze for up to 6 months. We love it roasted on a sheet pan with our favorite marinade, here's how to do it: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a bowl, mix together 1 tablespoon of maple syrup, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard, and 1-1/2 teaspoons of chili powder. Pour over two 6 oz. Fillets and roast for about 18 minutes, or until salmon is cooked through. Enjoy!
