This is an incredibly well made short leash. The handle is cushioned and very comfortable. If you are asking, "what do I do with such a 24” short lead ?" - I see two great uses for this leash. 1. when you are on busy sidewalks and streets and a normal 6ft leash isn't needed and could even be dangerous. This short leash keeps your dog right where you want him - at your side. Its strong and comfortable and perfect for this scenario. 2. Training - Perhaps you are working on some obedience or agility training and need a short leash that you can just grab if needed. In this case, this leash would be great as long as you have a larger dog. This leash uses a carabiner made out of "lightweight aviation aluminum" that also withstands strong pulling.
