WCGT32.51; ISO-- WCGT06T304-AF; Carbide Inserts; Uncoated, BU810; 5/32" Thickness; A WCGT insert is a double-sided trigon insert with a positive rake angle, an 80-degree edge, to sit flat in the tool holder (a turning tool or a boring bar) for improved cutting clearance and a better finish. They have cutting edges on one side. It is intended to be used for both turning and boring applications, especially ideal for roughing. When a cutting edge of the WCGT insert, a turning insert, becomes dull, you just need to rotate the insert in the holder to use the sharp edge. The Tin coating enables the inserts to last longer than uncoated inserts. The WCGT inserts are the replacements SWGCR tool holders of the Accusize Indexable Carbide Turning Tool Set.
