Thorn Wood is a unique type of aquarium driftwood that features a straight profile and thorn-like branches that shoot out from the sides of the main trunk. Due to having a straight profile Thorn Wood is well-suited for larger aquarium that have space to accommodate these pieces. The thorns on this driftwood are sharp and should not be used in planted tanks that have sensitive livestock with fragile finnage such as Betta Fish or Fancy Goldfish. Otherwise Thorn Wood is great for recreating forest scene aquascapes in your aquarium! Aquarium driftwood is buoyant and will float. Please ensure your piece is fully waterlogged prior to use in a planted tank or it will float upon filling the aquarium. Amazon wood is all natural and will also work beautifully in a terrarium or paludarium as an accent to immersed aquarium plants, terrarium plants and more. It will require a substantial amount of time to become fully waterlogged.
