he Astrox 88D Pro is the successor to the well-known Yonex Astrox 88 D White / Red and Green / Red. These rackets have been developed for the spectacular and fast style of doubles, making it possible to take over the attack even more powerfully. Of course there is also a Yonex Astrox 88 S PRO version for the more subtle players! Still for the dominant player at the back of the field, this version combines head heavy balance, 4U weight and stiff shaft and offers plenty of attacking power for players who like to break their opponents with powerful blows. New technologies Yonex has been able to make new progress in the development of the Volume Cut Resin. This groundbreaking resin provides a strong bond with less material and therefore weight. It is a very versatile resin with a durable and strong character, which reduces the weight. Of course, the distinctive Rotational Generator System is still active in all these Yonex badminton rackets, with which the weight is optimally distributed! And the Astrox 88 includes Yonex's E.B Cap, which increases energy transfer from the player to the racket by bending the shaft in a single direction, reducing shaft twisting and energy loss. This combines perfectly with the innovative Namd graphite that produces extra flex and snapback for players, giving you extra power without losing control. Advantage of Yonex Astrox 88 D Pro? The Volume Cut Resin enhanced material is also visible in the frame and grommets. The frame structure has evolved resulting in a larger sweet spot, partly due to the powerful reinforced isometric blade shape. The tubes are placed in better places in the frame and are slightly larger, so the strings can move a little more during impact of the shuttle. The shuttle will therefore be able to be launched with even more power with better balance / control.
