The simple & reliable operation is designed to combat fire hazards using the PASS (Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep) firefighting method to fight fire from 4 to 6 feet. Constructed from lightweight, durable aluminum, it includes an easy-to-read pressure indicator, corrosion-resistant metal valve assembly, and ergonomic, rust and impact resistant steel handle, ideal for years of service on the water. A strap bracket makes it easy to mount for quick access in an emergency, and the easy-to-pull safety pin design ensures fast activation. Dispose & replace if used, discharged, or if the fire extinguisher is over 12 years old. UL Listed. 12-year limited manufacturer's warranty. Note that the dry chemical agent in this fire extinguisher is non-toxic but may cause skin irritation. Recreational boats over 26 feet may require more than one fire extinguisher. Place a Kidde fire extinguisher within easy reach where fires are more likely to start. *Compared to industry saltwater test standards.
