The Algo 8188MEM Hydrophobic Membrane Screen allows the Algo 8188 SIP Ceiling Speaker and Algo 8189 Low Profile SIP Speaker to be used in high humidity environments when properly installed. Please note the Algo 8188 and 8189 should be installed so that only minimal moisture is present at the hydrophobic screen and where no other moisture intrusion is permitted into the 8188/8189 housing or electronics; such as under roof overhangs and soffits, covered areas at outdoor malls, school breezeways and retail walkways, gymnasiums and locker rooms, etc. For more information or questions about this product, please contact your dealer.
