About Replacement Electrostatic Filter For AVARI 500 And
Replacement filter for Avari 500/525 air purifier. Replace every 18 months. The patented ESF cartridge filters particles as small as 0.1 microns, filtering odors and harmful VOCs that most HEPA filters miss. The Electrostatic Filter was created based on the idea that air contaminants consist of polar (+/-) and non-polar fine particles. The Avari ESF harnesses the power of static electricity to separate the smallest and most dangerous contaminants. The ESF is composed of a uniquely dimpled high polymer synthetic resin film. The tightly wound film is polarized on both sides (one side is anode, the other is the cathode). Polarized bacteria and viruses are easily separated by the ESF. Non-polarized fine dust is also collected by the induction of static electricity as the particles pass through the filter. All this is achieved without ozone or carbon producing components.
