Hans-Joachim's "Durch Die Wuste" (translated as "Through the Desert") was his first solo album recorded over a two year period from 1976-1978 at Konrad "Conny" Plank's famous studio outside Cologne. Hans-Joachim was best known for his work in Cluster, Harmonia, & Aquarello. Originally released on Sky Records in Germany in 1978. This album was possible after Cluster's successful collaboration in 1977 with Brian Eno. This release has received numerous highly favorable reviews. Finally reissued here on 180 gram vinyl, complete with liner notes by Asmus Tietchens.
