Get your Angle of the Dangle right the first time! Determine the size and shape of the template you need and put the correct blades together. Leaving the knob screws loose, put the aluminum angle ruler in/over the area; spread out to fit in the area correctly, tighten all the knobs. Then transfer the angle ruler template on to your new decking, tile, wood, stone, etc; mark your piece and cut it once for the perfect fit. Don't be limited to working with smaller projects just because your multi-angle measurement tool can't expand out big enough to accomplish larger, more complex angles and measurements.
