About the Author Charles and Luli Orchard have lived in the Far East for over 20 years, 17 of them in their beautiful teak house in Bali. It was living in their own ‘black and white house’ in Singapore that sparked their interest in, and subsequent passion for the genre. Charles’s careers in art consultancy, publishing and furniture design stood him in good stead to curate the properties in the book, and Luli, as an ex-fashion editor for the Telegraph Magazine, has a trained interiors eye.
