About The Boutique: How To Start, Scale, And Sell A

Review Very well written and informative. The Boutique by Greg Alexander is a fascinating book that teaches how to start, scale and sell your expertise. A boutique is a business that sells its professional services and has less than 250 employees. Interestingly, it is harder to sell a service than it is a product. The author skillfully organized this book into sections that allow him to zero in on the point he is delivering. He asks meaningful questions that make you face the "why" into what you are doing. I found this book informative and interesting. Product Description What is a boutique? A boutique is a professional services firm past the start-up stage but prescale. Examples can be found in consulting, marketing and advertising, operations, banking, investment and wealth management, insurance, IT and tech industry, cyber security, financial, architecture, leadership and executive development, and coaching services etc. It's basically anyone who sells their expertise. There are 1,465,900 boutiques in the market today. This book is for them. It is about what firms at scale do. It is about what boutiques need to do to scale. And this knowledge gap between those at scale, and those not at scale, makes all the difference. There is about two trillion dollars spent per year on professional services industry. Those at scale capture most of it. If you want a bigger piece of the pie, you must grow to scale. The BOUTIQUE tackles all the major sticking points for firms at all stages of the business lifecycle. Providing the owner and entrepreneur with a framework to successfully grow, scale and exit from proven practices. We are in the golden era of boutiques. The business models of your clients are being disrupted by things like social media and digital marketing. This makes it virtually impossible for them to have all the required infrastructure and expertise in-house. They are looking for external expertise to build effective training processes for growth, planning, strategy, and productivity. They have big budgets to spend. Clients are buying from boutiques in record numbers. The sun is shining. Time to make hay. From the Author Get This Book For Your Team Share the learnings from this book with your team.
