It's design is so effective that the Orbit is the ONLY blower approved by NASA for use on the International Space Station! Most blowers simply suck in dust and moisture from the surrounding air and then blow it into the chamber and onto the sensor. The Orbit HEPA filter captures both and traps them in the filter, preventing them from being blown back onto the sensor. The technologically innovative design of this filter is such that it can be used many thousands of times before needing to be replaced. The Orbit Blower is vastly superior to all other blowers on the market today. HEPA filters are required by American and European standards to remove at least 99.95% of airborne contaminants in order to be called HEPA. ORBIT utilizes the latest 2nd generation of HEPA filters.
