Andrew C. Skinner is a professor of ancient scripture and Near Eastern studies at BYU and is a member of the international editorial group that worked on the Dead Sea Scrolls. The author of many articles and books, he holds masters degrees in Hebrew Bible and Judaic studies, and a PhD in European and Near Eastern history from the University of Denver. He has served as a member of the Church s correlation evaluation committee and as a member of the Sunday School general board.
