About Jesus, Superpowers, And The Bully

Product Description What if you were transported into the throne room and met with Jesus every time you prayed? What if you received superpowers at the same time?    A new kid in Troy’s 5th grade class bullies him at every turn. Troy doesn’t know what to do. It wasn’t his fault, after all, that he was born with only part of an arm. If that weren’t enough, he’s struggling in math and forced to work with the bully to improve. When Troy prays, asking Jesus into his heart, he is taken directly to the throne room of God and receives superpowers. Jesus says he can’t use his superpowers on people, so how is he supposed to handle the bully in class? How does he handle the demons that start appearing after Jesus gives him special glasses?  Get ready for an exciting ride as Troy discovers superpowers, miracles, angels, and the love of God while learning who he is in Christ and maneuvering the challenges with the bully at school.  FREE coloring pages inside! Review As someone who works in Children's Ministry, I'm always on the look-out for resources that will help me teach kids biblical truths effectively. T.M. Barton has brilliantly jam-packed this book with solid biblical truths woven into a captivating story that I know kids will love and be able to relate to. After reading this book, I've been fired up and encouraged myself! So I know this book will be such a blessing to any child, whether they are being introduced to Jesus for the first time, or deepening their relationship with God. I love this book! - 5 Stars, Fabian Robles Fantastic read! This book activated some holy imaginations for the reader. The most eye opening parts may have been the activity in the unseen realm in the areas of temptations. Though written for a younger crowd, it definitely speaks to adults, as well. After reading the book, it can lead the more "mature" Christian back to a childlike faith, especially in the area of prayer. - 5 stars, SK I loved this book. First I read the Kindle version, and promptly purchased three paperbacks to give to my grandsons and another friend who is faithfully praying for a healing miracle for her little boy. This story takes basic Biblical truths that many of us have overcomplicated and simplifies them for both children and adults. Spiritual armor is not only taught, but how to use it is made clear. I love how the author brings the readers into the throne room with Jesus, who teaches Troy how to live his day-to-day life with power and authority. What an encouragement to build a strong faith walk through scripture reading, memorization, and prayer! Highly recommend! 5 stars, Tina P. About the Author T.M. Barton writes children's Christian fiction chapter books geared for ages 8-12. Her stories are for readers who enjoy superpowers, spiritual warfare, friendship, miracles, signs, and wonders. She is passionate about writing books that encourage children in their walk with the Lord while helping them understand who they are in Christ and using their imagination for the kingdom of God. She lives in southwest Kansas with her husband and two children. Her father led her to the Lord when she was eleven years old, and she has served Him since. She discovered a talent for writing while working in the business sector, and the passion was again ignited while homeschooling her younger two children. She has one dog and four cuddly outdoor cats.
